While working at OC Transpo as a technical graphic designer, I had the opportunity to create a series of graphics advertising OC Transpo's free rides with any ticket purchase to Bluesfest.

I wanted to feature the different vehicles used in the city, so I designed two versions of the graphic: one with the O-Train and the other with buses. I based the graphic around the existing bright colours used in the Bluesfest logo as well as the O-Train line colours. My main goal was to combine those vehicles with instruments and music in some way, and using the strings of a guitar as rails and the wire of a microphone as a road felt like a fun way to do that.
I created all of the graphics shown here using Adobe Illustrator.
Alternate Sizes
I created a variety of sizes of the graphic for social media platforms such as Instagram, X and Facebook, as well as transit information screens in O-Train stations.
